Solar puffing (also called ''Solar toking'' or ''taking Solar Hits''〔 http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/1483.html〕) is the act of using a magnifying lens to heat cannabis for consumption. Many practitioners of this method know that by using heat from sunlight, instead of heat from a lighter, that the cannabis is consumed in a more 'natural' way, since the sunlight is the only heat source which also comes directly from nature. Utilization of this method also provides the practitioner the ability to consume a greater amount of THC within a given amount of cannabis because more THC is preserved for inhalation due to a lower heating temperature as opposed to that of combustion.
